  • Short, practical online safety training rather than a day long course.
  • A safety check for your organisation, with a written report.
  • Progress records you can show funders, your board or inspectors.

Ask us first

The process

What happens after you apply

Six steps, and you hear from us in writing at the end of it. No sales call and nobody will ring you to upsell anything.

  1. ApplyVerify your charity number and complete a short form. Around 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. We verifyWe check your registration against the public register for your regulator.
  3. We assessWe check the funds the Foundation currently holds and make a decision.
  4. DecisionA written decision, whatever the answer.
  5. Access set upYour account is created and login details go to your named contact.
  6. Annual reviewReviewed every 12 months, with a brief impact report from you.
Being straight with you about funded places

The Foundation can only award what it holds. If we cannot fund you immediately we will say so honestly, tell you your position on the waitlist, and set out the alternatives rather than leaving you waiting without an answer.

We use the waitlist as evidence of demand when we apply for grants, so being on it genuinely helps us fund more organisations.

Questions we get asked

Is this genuinely free, or will we be charged later?

Genuinely free. Funded access is paid for by the Foundation. There is no card required, no trial that converts, and no charge at the end of it. Access is reviewed every 12 months and we will tell you in writing if anything changes.

What is the impact report you ask for?

A short written update after six months and at each renewal, telling us how it has been used and what difference it made. Usually a few paragraphs. We need it because a community interest company has to demonstrate community benefit, and because funders ask us for evidence.

Can we share access with the people we support?

Yes, where it is appropriate and safeguarded. What it cannot be used for is commercial or income generating activity.

What if our income is above £100,000?

You can still apply, but you will need to show that the standard rate is a genuine barrier. Email us before applying.

Who actually decides?

The Foundation's directors, against written eligibility criteria and the funds the C.I.C. holds at the time. The decision cannot be taken to benefit CyberSafe Coach Plus Ltd commercially. That restriction is written into our access policy and is a requirement of the asset lock.

What happens to our data?

We check your charity registration number against the public register, and we hold the contact details you give us so we can administer your access. We do not sell data and we do not pass it to third parties for marketing.

Ready to apply?
